About Enwake

A focus timer built around one question: how much of today was actually signal?

Most Pomodoro timers count minutes. Enwake counts something closer to what actually matters: how much of your working time went toward the handful of things you genuinely meant to do, versus everything that pulled you away from them.

That distinction — Signal versus Noise — comes from a productivity framing often attributed to Steve Jobs: identify the small number of priorities that truly move things forward, and treat almost everything else as a distraction to be filtered out, targeting roughly an 80/20 split between the two. Enwake takes that idea and makes it something you can actually track, in real time, instead of just something you read about once and forget.

What Enwake actually does

Each day, you plan up to five goals and the time you expect each to take. Enwake splits that time into focused work blocks with automatic breaks, then tracks — live, while you work — what percentage of your session was genuine focused effort (Signal) versus pauses, idle time, and distraction (Noise). At the end of the day, you get a clear verdict: did you hold the 80/20 line, or did noise creep past its budget?

Why it's built this way

Enwake is free to use, with no account required. If there's something you wish it did differently, we'd genuinely like to hear about it — see the Contact page.
